Story
This loft forms a part of the nationally listed (rijksmonument) Smit Slikkerveer factory complex. The large shed on the River Nieuwe Maas, built in 1931 in a traditional-craft style, was used for constructing and testing heavy turbo-generators. Around 2008, part of the complex was converted to residential use as robust lofts, while preserving the industrial character. Did you know the street name refers to the Drierivierenpunt, where the Noord, the Lek and the Nieuwe Maas converge?
